When you create a PingXen account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). When you add monitors, we store the URLs, hostnames, and configuration you provide so we can perform checks on your behalf.

If you install the PingXen server agent, it reports system metrics such as CPU, memory, disk, and process usage for the servers you register.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the monitoring, alerting, and status page features you sign up for.
• To send you account, billing, and incident notifications you've opted into.
• To secure your account, including two-factor authentication and login alerts.
• To improve reliability and troubleshoot issues with the service.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your monitor configuration or server metrics with third parties except the infrastructure providers we use to run PingXen itself (such as hosting and email delivery).

4. Data retention

We keep monitoring history and incident records for as long as your account is active, so you can review trends and past outages. If you close your account, we delete personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for legal or security reasons.

5. Cookies

PingXen uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
